Close Encounters of the Third Kind 30th Anniversary Ultimate Edition
I've got this box on blu-ray.
It consists of:
The original version. 1977 (134 min.)
The special edition version. 1981 (132 min.)
The director's cut. 1998 (137 min.)
Anyone seen them all?
I want to know if I should see all versions or if they're basically the same.

I decided I'm going to watch all three versions.

Great set, got it on DVD, the first one is the original theatrical cut, the second one is the version where the added the endscene with Dreyfuss on the spaceship and the third one is the original without the endscene, some extended scenes and better special effects. Only quarrel I have with the set is they should've put the making of on one disc instead of 3 parts divided over the 3 discs. Don't know if that's the case with the blu ray

The 3 versions are on disc 1.
The rest on disc 2.
I think I'm going to watch the 2nd version tonight.
