its just a respect thing. if you respect the cats work enuff for him to visually define the album, then you should respect him enuff to pay. at least the going rate for a cover. i've done covers for myspace rappers with zero budget and still made a couple hundread dollars just out of apprecation for my art time and effort.

hartsfield changed the name to hartsfield-jackson and also wanted an updated the look of the airport signage.
if you ever fly through there you are seeing my work. the directories, the airline signs, the directional signs the parking garage signs... immortalized.
free? hell no. as a matter of fact i ate off that contract for years.
all i'm saying is if someone values your work, they will pay. regardless of who they are and who you are. i'm sure if sean stood firm about getting at least getting paid for his time, he would have gotten a check.
