As for Utd being a one man team, folk were saying that about Ronaldo when he was there.
So I guess Rooney has only become a good player this season if Ronaldo was the only decent player Utd had before.

Fact of the matter is, Utd just don't have the same spark about them without Rooney, which has been the case for the last 3 or 4 seasons (even with Ronaldo there).
Doesn't make them a one man team, just means that Rooney is one of the best players in the world and any team would miss him when he's sidelined.

But haters are always looking for a reason to put Utd down and the "one man team" shit is just one of many endlessly repeated clichés we hear about them.
