Roc-Marciano has been constantly dropping hot shit in the background since he first broke through as an honorable member of The Flipmode Squad around the time of Busta's "The Anarchy" album (where he was featured on two bangers). after that he re-invented himself with the hardcore underground crew The UN which, co-signed by Pete Rock, Large Pro, Q-Tip and The Alchemist, dropped the heavy debut "U N Or U Out!" in 2004, very underrated album; pick that up if you ever get a chance!

now he's finally coming with his solo album "Marcberg", and today they leaked the first single "Whateva, Whateva" (though the song 'Snow' been available on the net since around 2007).

Sounds good! I was starting to worry about The U.N., I guess for the real MCs who are working hard to provide dope music on the indie-underground level, it's hard to consistently put out music, or maybe they don't want to at the level most artists do online nowadays. I was just listening to Roc's old Strength & Honor mixtape.

Artists like them are inspiring to the moves I make in real life, they remind me of the feeling of other die hard East Coast hip hop groups who keep the classic feeling alive of attacking the mic + back to back lyricism and raw beats in their music.

I hope Pete Rock is on the album with beats, I think Roc Marciano could have been his next C.L. Smooth 4 years ago if they kept consistently doing music together.

Nope, no Pete Rock beats, looks like Roc didn't most of it himself, album is going to be dope, I am looking forward to it, The UN album still gets regular rotation.
