In Fame GZA spits that rhyme:
"Robert +Diggs+ the beat, but ain't feelin the flow"
"But he signed it fast, for half of Johnny's +Cash+"
what does he mean with that, especially the first line ?

Not many last in the game , Wu-Tang comin through breaking out the same way we came. This is not an act , this is actual fact , nothing but experience placed upon the tracks.
He's playin on RZA's last name.
Diggs = Likes.
Robert Diggs (Likes) the beat, but ain't feelin the flow.
ok I did not know that "diggs" can mean "likes"! I thought he meant that he burrowed that beat out of his brain or his gigantic collection of beats or whatever,
but I think I understand the "but he ain't feeling the flow" thing in a wrong way.
For me when someone says you ain't feeling the flow, that means something like you can't flow or your rap is shit...
so what does it mean then ?

Maybe he is saying, the RZA ( Robert Diggs ) did not like the beat himself but sold it anyway for the fast cash??
Yes or no?
Bullshit
I think he means rza had was lovin a beat he made but was not feeling the flow the artist was spitting but signed the deal fast because of the amount of money he made of it am thinking it was a female artist based on the lyrics before
maybe you should ask was this a random gza line or was their an artist that rza did not like the flow of but signed a deal to make a beat for cuz the money was too good to pass up
It's just a scenario: They always talk about all these wack emcees getting radio play off of the strength of the beatz when they can't rhyme a lick.
Digs=likes. It's not specifically referring to RZA but since he is technically a record exec it kinda makes sense that way too.
"half of Johnny's cash" refers to the fact that these wack rappers get played by the industry anyway.
I thought this thread was about when GZA refers to his cousin acting slick with his money -- which I think was about Divine not RZA.
