Windows xp start up menu?

need help badly yo... i need to find how to select wich programs open when this windows xp is started....

i dont know where to go, figure i ask ya geniuses...

any help will recive rep instantaniously

type in the word: Msconfig


a dialog box will appear with different tabs. Click on "startup".

Uncheck stuff that you feel safe unchecking. Apply the changes and let it reboot.
