Only a few years ago Hip Hop purists may have felt superior listening to hard core while their less enlightened companions snacked on commercial rap. As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.
Thanks.

theres some dumb ass people out there.
We do it for the people.
what would yall compare this album to (wu catalog) in terms of lyrical content and overall dopeness?
We do it for the people.
It just goes alont the usual Sunz of man/killarmy blueprint (not quite as interesting though). But It has more typical NY boom bap though on the beats. So it lacks alot of the trademark wutangness quirky samples, its more about base and heavy drums.
It was probably pretty standard at the time, sound a bit better now though.
Its nothing too special, just a steady album, and one of the more solid and better Wu affiliate albums. In terms of the Wu catalog I would give it a 3/5. The best tracks are probably 'Hip Hop' and 'Smoking'.
'Hip Hop' is by far the only standout track though.
Yeah, its nothing to get hyped over
