    Default Get familiar: Treme

    pronounced Tremm-AY

New series on HBO, 5 episodes in. unlike anything ever brought to TV before, it sort of reminds me of Crash with the interwoven story lines. The music is great btw.

It's not for the ADD crowd. With that said, it is my favorite new show on TV. Excellent show in all aspects. David Simon really transcends TV with his style of storytelling.

I was surprised to see Freeman from The Wire (don't know his character's name in this show) doin some crazy shit at one point. Not gonna spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet but GODDAMN!

is her trying to find her brother (iirc, i was smoking at the time lol) the overarching storyline for the show?

Nah. It's like The Wire. A bunch of separate storylines that somehow intertwine at times due to being in the same city.
