Just purchased my tickets for DOOM's show in Glasgow @ The Arches.

I'm psyched about going, but wonder if he'll show up or send a DOOM-Poster.

The thing is...if he pulls that DOOM-Poster ish in this city, the poor chump on stage pretending to be DOOM is gonna get rushed no doubt. We don't put up with that stuff. We pay and you show.

This is some booty. I bought tickets to see him and Mos Def in NYC, and that shit got cancelled cuz Doom kept sending impostors. Why oh why will he perform overseas but not here? All I want is to put on my backpack and hang out with a bunch of high skaters while Doom rhymes about whatever the hell it is he rhymes about.

i saw him at Pitchfork in Chicago a year ago and he was really good (his setlist hit all of the classics, plus a few surprises), but his hypemen sucked. i understand what hypemen are for, but DOOM's style is pretty relaxed and these two hypemen were yelling half of the lines and drowning DOOM out. i would have preferred it if it was just DOOM on stage alone or with more subdued hypemen.

With the exception of that shit he pulled with Mos Def (still can't believe he did that..... fucking LOW, sending an impostor to play with Mos), he's been performing all of his own shows this year. Atleast overseas anyways.
