his last two posts, in reference to shaolin vs. wu-tang:
"We bout 90pct done wit next album jus waiting for last features and were ready to go!"
how the hell he went from 92% to 96%, then back to 90% is puzzling to me, but whatever. his last post affirmed that he's working hard on the album, and won't be long before it's out:
"I'm #cali bound to finish up on my record!"
lol do you think he's sitting with a fucking calculator trying to estimate the exact number he has left before the album is ready. wheter he's saying 90, 96 or 92 he's just letting us know he's very close to getting it done

i give this record a 2013 release
Rae said a few days ago he'd never make his fans wait another 4-6 for an album again. after cuban linx II, I think he got his shit together. this year alone he already made appearances on a bunch of records, like capone-n-noreaga, and he co-starred in wu-massacre, and released his own mixtape, Cocainism.
anyway, I realized Rae's albums sound more focused and coherent when he's got movie sampels on them, like the original cuban linx and its sequel. that was missing in his other albums, especially wu-massacre, but I guess everyone is to blame for that record. whether it's kung-fu or john woo, I just hope the Shaolin record is filled with movie samples. he needs that transition
