isn't it obvious ?
isn't it obvious ?
To some people it is and to some people it isn't. Listen, Sunny, you of all people KNOW that the media portrays black men is a certain image. The question is can we escape that?
If more jobs, educational programs and more positive support were available, then black men wouldn't be portrayed as we are now.
Didn't you read my post in the black thread?
can WE escape that ?
if WE become a WE, then yes
if MEDIA is doing this, then black men need to step to media - and make them stop - or fucking else -
we talk all that tuff talk but can't stop a local police station from shooting unarmed black men - niggas is soft
yall are frustrating the hell outa me with this shit - black men need to completely come from out of this system of things and this culture - if black men don't do this, then black men need to take ownership and control over this system and change the culture - them little small moves and tactics are obsolete these days - them old 60's tactics of getting school programs implemented into the hoods will not work today - it didn't work yesterday
all of the solutions that are being thrown out here does not disconnect us from an oppressive situation - enough of us has to pull the plug for there to be a real move made
getting a job, and starting businesses just pulls you closer to the devils tits
but since there isn't enough of us rejecting the devils tits, all of us has to put our mouths on the nipple in order to eat - the one or 2 of us that refuses will only be homeless and outdoors
Is that so? Do you expect us as black man to march into all local police stations and demand that they stop racial profiling and they'll accept that? Do you expect black men to march to the local news to demand that to stop reporting black on black crime?
If that happens, they'll make a joke out of black men for sure for TRYING! Remember, the world thinks that we're only good for sex, physical strength, and sports. Is that so?
Also, you keep saying that we should just take what's ours. All of the educational programs and job placement is a bunch of non-sense and crap. Maybe it is and maybe it isn't. But how is one suppose to start a business with limited funds and limited support? The only support we might receive is from black women, then that'll be a pain. Come on, Sunny! They'll bankroll our ideas. As a result, the women we see us a boys, not men.
There's just isn't enough support.
we don't have "march" there
we don't have to make demands
we have to stop it...or else
they can easily make you work for them
why should i care about them thinking it's funny ?
fuck what the world thinks
it'll remain so if we stay here and do nothing
you are proving me right with your words
