^Exactly. A lack of passion and skill is evident in what he puts out nowadays. Not saying he isnt capable of greatness because he is and we all have heard that. Stop trying to cover for him. Just go buy 10 of his cds and pass em out as coasters.

Just heard a new track with no accent and it was ok. (Insane)

What I find funny is he's bringing something fresh and new to the table
But that seems to go unnoticed, this should be applauded not ridiculed in my opinion.

Like Slang said about Guru's voice never changing, or GZA as another example
They can't win but by doing the opposite of what Em has done.

And regarding lack of skill and passion...whatever
Why even bother to release another album if the passion is gone ? let alone a follow-up
And as for skill, thats on you, I for one am feeling the album, and his flow is silly.
You can't just discard talent like he has and it shows on this album to me.
I fail to see how this isn't dope.

You can change your music and try to advance it, but that doesn't mean it will be dope.

Granted, but at least he's bringing something new and fresh
    While continuing to experiment.
Why focus on advancing it though ?
Your problem is that you magnify it, to what has already been achieved by himself
Which makes no sense to me.
As an album in it's own right, it's dope.

    Of course the alternative is...
You can stay the same with no new creative edge, and it will be dope yeah ?
(not every Emcee can be like Guru or GZA)

This song is trash. We all know he can write clever, interesting raps but this song took no effort. I don't appreciate shit being called good music. I still give a shit about hip-hop. Thats why I'm on the Wu forum.

I like your sensibilities, man. But this isn't anything new from him. If anything its just moving backwards. Like "Infinite" backwards. I can't fault him for trying something new. But if that new style sucks then it sucks. Thats like sayingh "C'mon, Soulja Boy is just trying to be innovative".

Remember Em beefing with Cage. Look at Cage now. His style did a 180 and he still brings the same message. Em is still on some "horny for celebs" and "kill people while on drugs stuff". He just isn't as fresh with it.
