Is it not popular to rap in Swedish, or are the dopest tracks in English?

Yeah it is, but people probably feel like the english tracks have more of an outside appeal. I don't know that much about swedish Hip Hop so you would probably be better off with an answer from someone swedish, but I can guess that their Hip Hop history is pretty similar to ours - in the earlier days english was the preferred language, then after awhile more and more people started "finding their voice" in their own language..
As for Swedish speaking rappers, I've always been a fan of Ken Ring,
Timbuktu have always been enjoyable, but is a bit hit/miss for me
And though I've never been a fan, Petter is probably the best known rapper in Sweden (or am I completely wrong here??)
