    Isn't it great when you discover an old artist with a huge back catalog of classics?

    honestly I bought 'for the roses' on vinyl years ago and I played it once. I know she's a big influence on Sonic Youth (a group I'm a big fan of). Sonic youth did a song called 'Hey Joni' she's also big on using alternative tunings for acoustic guitar. she's cool though kinda reminds me of joan baez.

    sonic youth is my second favorite band after the pixies

    i'm a fan of joni mitchell

    blue is her most critically acclaimed album so that's probably her best

    she has many great songs but her best is probably a case of you
