The robot will just use the ladder and it can break the wobbling rung and fall on to a person and kill them.

There's so many factors bro. They can definitely program in the blue prints. but "easily" the obstacles? That's a bold statement man. That would take A LOT. how easy is it to give an inanimate objects the mind of a human? but if you want to be technical, i never said it's impossible. nothing is. science has done some great things. I guess time will prove one of us wrong.
Something that is arguably more complex and involved, medical pods that would make most surgeons obsolete are already being developed. I don't think you need the mind of a human to do these jobs, at the end of the day a human is behind the robot so they can figure out any scenarios that might occur.
