Default Your Old Droog (Nas comparisons)

I was tricked by a friend (who sent me the audio of this) in thinking this was a lost 90s Nas freestyle....

    This kid sounds like Nas

I checke dout his Ep and its pretty dope

first a fake ghost, then a fake nas. Is this the era we're in? We should expect a fake raekwon and noreaga next.

A fake ghost? U mean Action Bronson? He's dope as fuck don't know how anyone is still comparing him to ghost, totally different rapper and they really don't sound alike once you listen to him.

And the old droog was discussed here quite a bit when this first came out

After listening to Bronze Enough times you sorta hear the iddference
he has the same cadence as GFK

Theres always been MCs with the same cadence as the greats

    Papoose- Big L
    Action Bronson- GFK
    Guerilla Black- Biggie
at one point Joell Ortiz resembled Big Pun
now its Baby Pun sounding like his dad
young dirty bastard sounding like his dad
    Old Droog sounding like Nas

its hard to mimick the Legends and get props for it
if you look at young dirty bastard, if he wasngt ODBs son everyone would be shitting on him for trying to emulate ODB.

Old Droog imo has done a great job emulating Nas
his EP is dope as f@ck

If he came out whack then for sure he'd be on the chopping block
Id like to see him collab with Nas like how GFK and Action Bronson have done.

i have yet to see someone emulate 2pac.....

I personally never heard the similarities between Action Bronson and Ghostface or felt he was jacking Ghosts' style

Haha yeah there's Kasinova Tha Don that people think is 2pac that sounds mad identical to Pac but remember in The New Death Row era with all of those wack dudes they put out there was another 2pac imitator, I think he was called Tha Realest.

C-Murder bites 2Pac hard on some songs too. On this one it's supposed to be 'a tribute'.

When it comes to jacking 2pac it doesn't get much worse than this

Lol @ calling someone a fake 2pac while you rap over a 2pac beat and word for word jack one of his verses

Plus on that C Murder album Snoop jacks Ice Cube's Gangsta Gangsta verse

Chiba, if you're interested in this kind of thing... Krazy (used to be called Crazy) has got a few solo albums out (I shed tears for the world, Please don't kill me and Breather life), then there's the 504 Boyz & other No Limit releases. But he was in a group first, called Murder Inc. (I kid you not). They released two independent albums, Playin for keeps & Let's die 2-gether.

Yeah, lots of Pac drama going on in this album cover lol.
