    LOL I remember I worked with a guy who used to ALWAYS say "it is what it is" to the point I got tired of hearing it. It's like he was just accepting shit as it is never showing enough care or emotion or strength to change shit. He was a half ass do the job kind of guy which means he isn't the kind of guy you want as a co-worker.

    The video reminded me of this cool video and song that Bruno Mars ripped off. I heard Bruno Mars ripped off lots of his songs.

    The Thundercat album was 'album of the week' here on one of the larger stations. I heard about two thirds of the album. Good stuff! He's pretty big round here.

    ^^ I heard their song 'You and me time' on the radio yesterday for the fisrt time. apparently it is not really representative for their catalogue (?) but I really dug the song. I am otherwise unfamiliar with the band. The only other song of theirs I know is the FANTASTIC 'Texas Sun' collabo with Leon Bridges.


    Selah Sue took fibe years off to focus on her kids but she's back with an EP. This is the first single.

    ^ Khruangbin are fantastic. I was playing their music initially as background music but it gradually works its way into your soul, gorgeous stuff. Yeah 'Time' was their previous single, more disco oriented than the rest of their stuff which is inspired by Thai rock, Middle Eastern music, a lot of world music. They're more accessible than that sounds though.

    That Selah Sue track is very sweet and nice.
