Why don't we keep the Nazi stuff for historical threads? Any comparisons with current regimes are either generalizations, like that list of yours that sums up the traits of a lot of totalitarian regimes, or are bound to fail because of the historic specifics of the 1930s and 1940s, including geopolitics, racial theories, war theory and the Great Depression
