Default Did the original version of Secret Rivals ever leak?

Did the complete original version of Masta Killa's Secret Rivals ever leak? Or is it still just that 1:30 RA version & the instrumental on Math's album?

never finished... it was a demo.. the lyrics were later used on Deck's song Friction. The beat completely changed and used on one of Math's instru albums I think. This snippet had me wilin' in '97 though.

    Another dope story Cilva!

"I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth" (Rev. 3:15-16)

It is actually pretty wicked to know that this was never more than a demo. Because as far as I have understood from all the people, a website was put up. www.mastakilla.com. And people ordered the 12" online, or it could have been mail order with money sent. But nobody ever received their copy. This is like one of the earliest pieces of vaporware ever.

Also was listening to the Friction lyrics, but could not find the similarities with the snippet.

Did you only listen to his first verse? MK's second verse on Friction is word for word the same that he spit on the Secret Rivals snippet.

lol, no idea how I could have missed that. Must be because of all the multitasking. Hehe. I stand corrected.

Maybe we could loop the beat and get the vocal from Friction to redo it
