I thought it was pretty good. 8.5/10
Damn, this is upsetting. I fucking loved his first 5 albums.

Anguish fuels D.M.X.'s fire much like Eminem. He expresses a great deal of torment on here..
This album dropped fifteen years ago today. This was his only album released on Sony Urban Music/Columbia. He signed with the label again after not wanting to wait his turn after Cypress Hill, Kriss Kross and Fugees and the lack of response to his promotional single Born Loser. This album was halfway decent, but could have been much better. He had an in store on release day in my neighborhood in Bronx, but he never showed up, typical
D.M.X., ha ha. I got to meet some of the Columbia interns and Ruff Ryders bikers, so that was fun. I remember it was 103 degrees in the blazing hot sun that day.
