Mad props to the blue blur making it to three decades even after the untimely demise of Sega and those atrocious mid 2000's games.

the first two sonic games for genesis, still perfect, probably the most played games on that system for me besides mortal kombat and altered beast.
Sonic & Knucks was my jam. They should still make games like this in 2D id still play em
As much cultural impact as Sonic had, in later years the games did no really hold up for me. They really amounted to just going fast, and do not have the same allure as a Mario game. But I still try them out every once in a while for a couple of levels.
Also, it is sad to see how Sonic never survived the change to 3D. I often wonder how it could really work.
Chemical Plant level sucks ass btw.

I have never played that one. Or maybe I did, but not recently. Did you play Sonic Mania? Basically a 2D Sonic made by fans making levels that got hired by SEGA. Fans were tired of those weak ass sequels SEGA kept putting out under the Sonic name. Mania is actually a solid tribute to the 2D years released on the 25th anniversary.
Wu-Tang: failing the internet tubes since 1997
Nah I never heard of that, you can download it online? I like the nostalgia of 2D games. I remember on n64 they had the game Yoshi Story, that was like an old school game on a 3D console but it was just fun to play
