This is a huge deal. Supposedly sunk by Ukrainian developed missiles to which is impressive but I firmly believe such an operation was undertaken under the guidance of NATO commanders. The Black Sea's number 1 ship sunk though, that's a massive L for Russia. They can't send reinforcements into the Black Sea now either so that's a naval fleet without it's command ship gone.

Yeah, this isn't good for Russia. NATO is squeezing Russia into desperation. Rumor is that Russia stated that they'll utilize nuclear weapons on Ukraine if Sweden and Norway join NATO.

The way I read it in the newspapers over the last two days is that the Russian government announced that the larger Baltic region (including the East Sea and Finland) will no longer be 'a non nuclear zone', which means that Russia will bring nukes to Kaliningrad, the large portal region that is a Russian exclave if Finland and/or Sweden join NATO.

The thing is, the countries surrounding Kaliningrad have been convinced for years now that there already are nukes in Kaliningrad

One assumption is the Ukrainians sent a Turkish drone in the Moskva's direction as a distraction and then right after that shot missiles at the ship. Only an assumption so far.

If my count is right this would be the second Russian ship that the Ukrainians severly damaged/destroyed in the war so far. I remember the first one was mentioned early on in the war.

Well they say the drone was a decoy or was there to laser target the ship. Either way it's a monumental moment to bring down a battleship like that, only the second battleship to be sunk since WW2.

News from Russia or rumours are thats Russia will declare war on Ukraine. I know sounds dumb but they haven't officially declared war, it's just a 'special' operation at the moment.

Putin has a fragile ego, like Trump, so I imagine he'll resort to nuclear weapons out of spite for being humiliated like this

Something interesting that's brewing here is the escalating tensions between India and China have been stiff for a few years. India claims they have the intelligence that China are preparing for some sort of offensive they won't spare anyone if attacked. Legit WW3 brewing which is mental but it's been a historically quiet period of peace as far as territorial conquests go.

It's Sweden and Finland joining NATO, Norway were founding members.

    Ok. Thank you.

Russia warns if the US continues to supply Ukraine with weapons, we'll be face with unpredictable consequences, whatever that may be. We just approved of a $800 million weapon package to Ukraine.

Some 2,000 Ukrainian soldiers left in Mariupol, holed up in a large steel factory and adjoining buildings. There's many underground tunnels in the complex

Mariupol is almost completely Russia occupied by now. The remaining Ukrainian soldiers declined to wave the white flag earlier today at the moment assigned by the Russians

They are the Azov batallion, the extreme right/fascist corpuscule of the Ukrainian armed forces.

Mariupol is the place Russia needs to connect the Crimea with the Donbas region over land. Taking Mariupol would be Russia's greatest victory in the war so far

India to note has received a batch of S400 missile defence systems early from Russia to, so they are arming up against China with Russian tech but the US doesn't want to strain ties with India so have overlooked this purchase.

On Sweden and Finland joining NATO a funny thing happening in Turkish media especially among pro-Russian outlets is the case to veto Swedish membership. The Russian embassy in Turkey is also tweeting about how the Europeans support the Kurdish PKK, highlighting Sweden's massive support for them in Syria which obviously pisses off a lot of Turks. So Swedish membership isn't as guaranteed as people think.

Russia is repositioning to flex, attacking Kyiv and Lviv in the last few days. They’re not going to let this go.

I agree. I will say that Russia will only use nuclear weapons if they feel their existence/country is threatened. If they're losing to the point of desperation Russia may launch a nuclear bomb. Perhaps not a city killer, but a bomb that'll cause serve damage to Ukraine. At that point, a nuclear war (human suicide/human extinction possibly) will occur. The safest place to be will be continents such as South America, Africa, south western parts of Asia, and maybe Australia.

I know that I'm being paranoid but this could be reality if this war intensifies.

I think Russia will only use nuclear weapons if America or western allies join the fight, and I think he would attack Europe directly not just Ukraine? I don’t think Putin is that stupid IMO but I do think Russia has the goal of taking Ukraine any thing less would be seen a a failure?
