I’ve only ever seen Goldeneye when it came out in theatres so I don’t really get what would make a Bond theme but is it cheating if I say the Peter Gunn theme since that was an old detective show? To me that’s the definitive detective/spy theme song.
Tell me what makes a ‘Bond song’ I’ll dig for some.

You mean the only Bond film you've ever seen is GoldenEye? Thats surprising, but then I suppose there are no James Bond films that are like The Godfather status or anything.
The themes tend to incorporate the original Monty Norman theme (which I think is the definitive haha) in some way, and are very dramatic/orchestral, minor key and usually sung by a female.
They older ones have that 60s jazzy feel to them. Its one of those things that you know it when you hear it. I was thinking of mainly the theme songs but if you know any good instrumental soundtracks that sound like that I'd be interested.
This is a good example.
