I finally watched True Detective seasons 1 and 2. Season 1 is classic but season 2 was a let down. How it ended was terrible.

I've seen the film, but not the spin off series. The movie was amusing from what I remember.
There is an updated movie with some of the original actors from a christmas story.

Matilda, the musical (Netflix). It's as good as the film with DeVito from back in the day. Emma Thompson is fantastic as the head mistress. The choreography in the school scenes is entertaining to say the least.

The french comedy Amelie from 2001, I think. Very lovely film to watch with the Mrs.
Amélie Poulain is a true classic. I still remember the scene where you hear all the Parisian women have an orgasm while the camera just shows you a picture of Parisian roofs (not 100% sure I remember it correctly lol)
^^Yes, they actually show all the couples having sex in that scene.
