RIP. Always enjoyed his bizarre stream of consciousness lyrics, something completely different in a world of conformities. Sounds like he had a bit of a tragic life, thanks for sharing radioactive man.
I'll be bumping his stuff all day.
Would love to see some official releases of his work, especially those early Warcloud albums and a professional mixing / mastering job, if the original recordings are available.
Rest In Peace to Holocaust/Warcloud one year ago today. Came across this doing some research about him. Definitely believe that something rotten happened with his death. I know people die in prison sometimes, it happens, but so many mysterious clusters of deaths within such a short period of time does seem unusual. The project is officially listed on December 29, a date chosen with intention. December 29 marks the anniversary of the passing of Holocaust, whose voice, presence, and legacy continue to echo through the culture and lineage this music emerges from.
The album is released on March 10, in recognition and celebration of Holocaust’s birthday.
The project features contributions from Solomon Childs, Bad Azz, Timbo King, Shogun Assason, American Poets 2099, alongside additional collaborators connected through the same lineage and era.
The physical release is intentionally limited and rooted in legacy.
