    Default The Specials

Anybody down with them? One of the first multicultural bands, straight outta Coventry, England. They started out as "The Automatics" in 1977, but they released their debut in 1980 as "The Specials"

Their music style is kinda hard to describe, it's like ska/reggae/punk-rock or something..

Their best song is called "A Message To You Rudy", which is a ska/reggae track.. check the video for it here (plus some more videos):

I love the Specials. Picked up their Greatest Hits really cheap. That style of music has not dated, obviously Ghost Town is their biggets Tune, but I would agree, A Message to Rudy is my favourite.

Ghost Town is so dope. I only have their debut album tho. I don't really like their rock/punk tracks, but their ska tracks is classics.

Madness - One Step Beyond Album was more of a favourite.
