“Catch your dreams before they slip away. Dying all the time, lose your dreams, and you will lose your mind. Ain't life unkind?”
Ronald Isley is on Def Jam now? Ronald needs to give it a rest LOL. He's made enough Isley Brothers albums. It's just him & his brother Ernie now. Marvin Isley was with them on their Mission To Please album that came out in 96 but he stopped recording with them because i read a Ronald Isley interview a few years ago & he said one of Marvin's legs got amputated. R Kelly is producing Charlie Wilson's new album? Oh no LOL. R Kelly fell off a long time ago.
i dont know tho it seems for other people he is producing better songs then his own. im feeling charlie's new single tho.

The stuff R Kelly has been producing lately for other artists is shitty too.

Did ya'll see The Isley Brothers Busted video last year? Ronald Isley was wearing a fur coat with a Paul Pierce Celtics basketball jersey hahahahahahahahahaha. I guess he thinks he's still a young man LOL.
As you know CharlesJones, I am a big fan of funk music. Did anyone mention the Brothers Johnson, Graham Central Station, The Blackbyrds, Rolls Royce, Guy, Loose Ends, Surface, I think someone mentioned Slave, and Sun? Funk ain't complete until you include all these groups! I'll continue with the conversation later.
its all good
My father got some albums by The Brothers Johnson and The Blackbyrds. I like them too. My favorite Brothers Johnson song is Strawberry Letter 23. What's up with the clothes they had on the album cover of Right On Time? Hahahahahahahahahahaha. I love Slave. Just A Touch Of Love and Watching You are my favorite songs by them. I like Chic a lot too. They had a lot of hits that i like such as Good Times, Le Freak, Everybody Dance, Dance Dance Dance, My Forbidden Lover, I Want Your Love. Charlie Wilson has Justin Timberlake on his new album hahahahahahahahahahahaha. Charlie has lost his mind collaborating with that bitch. I heard The Gap Band's self titled album for the first time a few months ago that came out in 1977. That album sucks. I like Jeffrey Osborne a lot too. He used to be in the group LTD that had the hit songs Back In Love Again, Love Ballad, Holding On When Love Is Gone.
James JT Taylor of Kool & The Gang did 4 solo albums that i listened to last week for the first time. His albums are Master Of The Game, Feel The Need, Baby I'm Back, A Brand New Me. All of these albums are very good. He's a underrated singer and he's one of my favorite singers. When he was with Kool & The Gang in the 80's, they had so many hits. If he hadn't joined the group, i don't think Kool & The Gang would've been successful because they were a jazz group before he came along.
