Default Dogtown & Z-Boys/Lords of Dogtown

i saw Lords of Dogtown recently and its a good flick. true story of Tony Alva, Stacey Peralta & Jay Adams, pioneers of skateboarding which gave birth to 'extreme sports' ie. x-games etc.

for those who skate, its a must see and for all others its still interesting to see how shit happened in cali back in the late 70s/early 80s.

i havent seen Dogtown & Z-Boys yet, which i hear is better i'm probably gonna check that out this wknd. peace.

I saw the documentary of Dog town and z boys when I went to see a double bill of that and the biggie and tupac doc. I remember at the time thinking to myself cuz this was on first that it was gonna be boring as fuck since I had no interest in the history of skateboarding, but I have to say I was pleasently suprised, I found myself really enjoying it. It was really interesting about how this group came together.
