Default Raekwon gave a good show in Montreal

I was there 2 hours ago and Raekwon was really, really good...Man, this guy has a big personality. His flow was incredible and he talked real talk about hip-hop, himself and others.
There was a fucking big crowd of real wu fans and beeing in front of the stage made me freaking mad when people didn't stop pushing..even girls behind me where driving me crazy. The set was delayed for more than an hour for sure but he gave a real tight performance and playing all types of wu material as well as the classics. He talked about cuban linx II and he played a few of the album songs.
Montreal was waiting for a Wu member to tour in montreal and it showed tonight that we have a good fan base IMO.
He was showing good energy and love for the crowd. For me it was short ( I wanted it to last a lot longer!! )but it was worth every second of my time plus he signed my Wu-Tang manual!!!!!!

P.S He was late because he had a bunch of trouble passing the canadian border! ( I'm pretty it had to do with the large crew he had with him )
Wu-tang is one thing that made my life more interresting lol. RZA inspires me. And to all of you people living with negativity inside yourselves...remember that if God is for us, who can be against us?

yeah the show was crazy, he did lots of material mostly from Wu & Only Built for cuban links

    glacier of ice
    ice cream
    its yourz
    triumph
wu tang clan ain't nothin to fuck with
    chessboxin
    incarcerated scarface
    criminology
    rainy dayz
    verbal intercourse
can it be all so simple
    state of grace
tribute to odb '' Brooklyn Zoo & Shimmy Shimmy ya ''

shyt was crazy and it made me think that most of the wu member can tour from older material alone

I went to see RA the Rugged Man and JMT first, RA absolutely killed it even though he wasn't on very long (the venue told them it had to be over by 10:30)....JMT wasn't very impressive.

Rugged Man signed my copy of his album and then stole my marker.

As for Raekwon, I was disappointed...There was a huge throng of people in front of the theatre waiting to get in, so me and the guys I was with were sitting across the street smoking blunts and whatnot....anyways, when the line finally seemed to have been let in at about 1:00 am, we go across only to find Raekwon saying that the show was half over:

Rae: "We been on for what now, like 20 minutes?"
Other Dude: "Like a half hour"
Rae: "Word, we been on for 40 minutes, show's half over Montreal, you having a good time?". (wackest thing said onstage, EVER!)

So we saw the second half, and it seemed like we heard almost all the songs listed above.

Fucked up show, Rae was real lazy, too many hangers-on onstage, when Rae did Ice Cream he was behind a group of girls on stage...and it seemed like the concert ended at 2:00 although I couldn't really read my watch at that point due to the $1.50 beers at Rugged Man's show.

R.A. the Rugged Man was definitely the biggest act in town that night.
