    You must be blind then.

None of the reasoning you gave (which I agree by the way) on Green Day applies here.

This isnt a case of a band getting old or growing up.
    Its purely financial.

They stopped making albums, and started making songs to fill in around the singles they made for radio.
They arent even remotley the same band as they used to.
They arent even a band. They are Bono and his band.

    la the darkman
went to the woods, spent time alone, meditated under a waterfall climb to the highest peak of the mountain; now I'm back, enlightened, fully trained, to be the greatest Jackass the Corp has ever seen. all hail Me, you fucking Skruds.

i'm not here to change your mind... but they are just a different band... things are different for them now... they don't live day-in, day-out amongst the social unrest that they used to... regardless of what you think of bono as a person, he's improving as an artist... and to be perfectly honest, the only decent single of their latest album was 'city of blinding lights'... all of the best tracks are 'the filler'...

    11.Michael Jackson
12.Lionel Richie(i don't think he's a sellout but fans of The Commodores thinks he is because when he went solo, his music sounded pop to them. I like his solo music but it was pop but Lionel is a legend because he's a great songwriter and he wrote most of The Commodores hits. His new album is decent.)
13.Kool And The Gang(fans of their's from the 70's don't like the music they did in the 80's because people think their music in the 80's sounded pop because their music from the 70's was funky. Their music did change when James Taylor joined them but they had a lot of success when James was with them. James also did some good solo albums. He's one of my favorite singers and he's underrated.)
14.Charlie Wilson of The Gap Band(what the fuck is he doing collaborating with Justin Timberlake, Will I.A.M. of Black Eyed Peas, Snoop Dogg on his latest album? He's a funk legend and his album didn't need those guest appearances. He should've had George Clinton, Skip Martin of Dazz Band, Larry Blackmon of Cameo on his latest album.)
    15.Boyz II Men
16.Babyface(his solo music is very popish compared to the funky music he did with his old group The Deele. LA Reid who works for Def Jam records used to be with The Deele also. A lot of people don't know that.)

Johnny Damon. I know it's the wrong section, but how can you honestly go from the Red Sox to the Yankees?
