imo J-Zones best album, more variety in the production
we need more cats like this makin fun records
everyone talks about doom and hes great and shit, but imo zev luv x is better

I waited for so long for my music store to get in "A Prince Among Theives" and it finally came in earlier this year. It is an undisputable classic, and imo Prince Paul is heavily under rated by hip hop fans. The guy is responsible for so many classics, and is the originator of many production techniques and styles.
Q UNIQUE - VENGEANCE IS MINE

^^Well done Cap I forgot about this album which I also own, very dope.
You can't go wrong when you have production by people like Necro and the Beatnuts.

These two are albums are so slept on....on this site in particular....and they are dope as fuck.....
This album is dope, Opio is a dope west coast rapper (Hiero member) and the beats are dope.......my fav track is prolly "Mind, Body & Soul"
Ill also......this is sooooo sick...i feel these guys never got the credit for there work (prolly overshadowed by the more popular gangsta rappers from the west).....the tracks that i love are......."Miles To The Sun", "Oakland Blackouts", "All Things" and many more......
^^Albums not to bad either.

This is a real good thread..
This was a real good record; Nine has a gravelly voice and some pretty nice lyrics; this a real good record. "Peel" is my fav. record on here but people will remember the great single "Whutcha Want"
This is one of my favorite Old-School records. Classic minimal production and one of the most influential hiphop records of all-time!
This is the best compilation I ever heard. So many hard to find classics like Divine Force´s "Holy War" out of this world maddness; that could easily the best thing ever. The Rammelzee´s "Beat Bop" which is the most expensive record in hiphop history; and one of the best; obviously where B-Real and AdRock got that nasally style; classic. Also contains the brilliant "My Mic Is On Fire" by Lord Shafiyq. Probably the best record Rawkus ever put out, get this!
This is a 5CD (but easy to find cheap) boxset that contains all the OldSchool classics. Features Busy Bee; Treacherous 3; Crash Crew; Funky 4+1; The Sequence (great all girl group with Angie Stone); and of course Grandmaster Flash and The Furious 5 and the Sugar Hill Gang. Essential listening along with the Wild Style Soundtrack.
What I want to know do people here own any of the albums listed and if so which ones?
