Logging In

I don't know why I didn't bring this up a few years ago when this forum first came back on, but I have problems with logging in on my work computer. What happens is that I can only log in if I do so within about the first 2 minutes of entering the site. Then it automatically logs me out after a few minutes. So basically I can get in one post per login. The biggest hassle is that after it logs me out, I can't log back in. I have to exit the whole internet explorer browser thing, then bring it back up, come back to the Corp, and login again for another post. Pretty fucken annoying as one might imagine. Also, if I try logging in after I've already been browsing for a few minutes, it won't let me. I've gotta go through that same process I mentioned just before.

Also, it makes no difference whether I tick the "Automatically log me in each visit" box, or whatever it says.

And on my home computer I am permanantly logged in, which is to say that every time I visit the site I am logged in. No problems there.

Anybody got any good explanations for why this might be happening?

try erasing the cookies and all temporary internet files on the computer you are having the problems with

it should work after that

any other forums you are automatically logged into - you will have to log into them again

Ok, I just cleared everything. This is my first login and post since. Let's see if I'm still logged in in 2 minutes.

i also had to make some changes to the security settings on the browser i was using
