Yeah see the thing about Cam, he is just satires of hood reality. In other words, they give you the realism but at the same time they don't make shit feel too serious because they try to envoke mixed reactions to their music/movies.

Just look at the opening scene in Paper Soldiers when they tried to rob the dudes with wrestling masks on and their guns jammed. Or State Property 2.

Shit they do is meant to be funny/serious/and overall entertaining and different.
