As Shaolin research began to point out the overwhelming benefits of raw production, true hip hop enthusiasts started turning back to traditional styles. Wu-Tang in particular, has been shown to myriad beneficial effects, from warding off ignorance and poverty to reducing the risk of incarceration and death.
haha at true master writing a verse for RZA.... although that verse IS pretty bad... RZA probablky freestyled it or something
singin sick silky six syllable stanza's is pretty bad? i thought he flowed nice on that part but it is one of rza's weaker verse's.

Are you saying Rakim is a weak lyricist? I'm not saying that because you said he wrote for ODB (I know you were joking). But we have people joking, that weak artists are writing for the Wu, every ghost writer mentioned sucked ass. Why bring the great Rakim, the best of all time, into that category of that?Originally Posted by deadlymelody
And as for RZA, I quote this from In Stereo:
RZA was credited as the only writer in Digital Bullet on all his solo tracks. I don't know about the BOAP album, cuz I don't own it at the moment.Originally Posted by Bobby Digital In Stereo album insert
GZA even said in The Manual (or it might have been RZA, or GZA or Ghost in an interview I read somewhere) that said, when they write they all throw each other ideas when they're writing. It's all peace, they help eachother out. That's what makes them so ill.
The year 2002...the battle still with the WU
haha are you for real!? a matter of course that they write there own lyrics! Wu-tang clan is for real, no fuckin nellyOriginally Posted by Dark-Olsson
if you read your cd pamphlet things youl see that it states who wrote the lyrics to the songs.
wu tang are mentally and vebally gifted and dont need to scam others lyrics.
they may get tips and pointers from other but thats all.
WU TANG IS INVINCIBLE
KIA KAHA
as for dude who said Rza wrote on tracks that he didnt even spit on, 9 times out of 10, the producer will get a writers credit, because he/she wrote the instrumental part, also the people who wrote the song that was sampled will get a writers credit too.
look at 36 Chambers & Forever, every track is listed as being written by Wu Tang Clan, even tracks like M.E.T.H.O.D. MAN, Clan In Da front, The Dog shit, that are all solo tracks, every Wu track dont have every member on it, yet all are credited as written by all of them.
also, on them old tracks from solo joints, some of them lyrics were written by other members, check out Damage & Snakes from dirtys first album, Gza is on Damage, but Dirty does Gza parts from that verse on Snakes, who wrote it ??
as for helping each other out with a couple lines here & there is all good, shit i've done that for people and they've done that for me too, its no big thing.
i've had 3 people correct me on that. thank you for clearing that up. probably should have known this but i never pay attention to the writing credits.
