Forty Glock u nailed it. 100 percent agreed. Deck shoulda used the beats from the Hus Kingpin album. He made a retro sounding Wu album that was still fresh. Hahahhaha. Peace

After listening to CD for a week would rate it as one of Decks best solo albums. There's only one song I skip and would have liked more Wu features... Other than that its a banger (imo). Cant wait for "Cant Stay Away" vid! SUUUUUUUUU

Agreed. I'm liking this album too.
The only problem I have is the Hellfire features (x2) - dude is boring. Masta Killa or LAD should have been on this.
I cannot fathom how Deck manages to get Meth/GZA/Ghost etc.. for the Czarface projects - yet there is not one feature from the main 9 on his newest solo!
Do you guys think it may be an issue of budget? I can't think of any other reason than may be he didn't have the budget to afford main Wu features. Although it would be surprising if the other generals are charging their 'premium' rate to their fellow Fifth Brother - even in these cynical and self-centered times.
Deck is always turning up for his Wu brothers' projects (he was in Ghost's latest video... and will probably be on the album too); doesn't make sense.
Who did the most Features on strictly wu albums and Solo member projects? I mean strictly wu.
I think the top 5 List would look like this:
On a Workaholic type of level:
1.rza
2.Mef
3.rae
4.deck
5.cappa
...mastakilla,ghost(most feats with rae),gza
Killabeez most feature tracks on wu Lps and solo Features:
1.9th prince
2.beretta 9
2.prodigal sunn
3.heavenrazah
4.streetlife
5.killa priest
....solomon childs.....shyheim.....12oclock

This is an emotional ode to the genre from Deck. Heartfelt wordplay and a banging beat.
Great visuals on this video too.
I love the collage style - taking it back to the patchwork creative aesthetic that underpins all elements of Hip Hop culture.
I like this one, the beat has a real DJ Premier vibe to it.
That "Can't Stay Away" video is nice nostalgia trip.
the album had to grow on me first listen I wasn't too impressed , but I agree production wise this is a good album
lyrically I think Deck can do better
Nonetheless I had this album in repeat mode, set to buy this one
I have yet to listen to this album. Shame on me.
