Funny about this epic sample is that, according to wikipedia, this song was sampled for ice cream, which is obviously incorrect. Maybe someone got the songs mixed up and never reached the public. However, this is the mythological sample for Glaciers of ice, i have even played around with it in my sampler and its even the right tune, so its a definite match.
Cilva claimed that 'glaciers' and 'it was written' sample the same song, which i cant confirm as of now.

It is stated on numerous sites that the 4th disciple masterpiece '5 Arch Angels' (Sunz Of Man) samples Marvin Gaye's 'Mercy, Mercy Me', but it was never clear to me what parts that actually were sampled, if this is even correct in the first place.
Can anyone bring light on this issue?

I'm not 100% sure, but it I guess it's the same sample. I pitched it down and it sounded kinda similar

Interestingly, my version of this song doesn't end like this, it fades out earlier, so i never heard that part. I guess you're right. I will have to play around with the sample to be fully convinced, but now there's at least a possibility.

Wow that's really an impressive finding. It's doubtless the correct sample, which is also strengthened by the other sample appearing just before it at 0:45.
