Rza is the one that has overseen every project.
except this one. jussayin. lol. not trying to hate on the album or process, just stating what it is

agree that this isnt good for the brand though, but RZA wanted to brand an album he didnt make as a Wu-Tang album so he'll have to take the heat along with it

they should probably focus on different priorities such as staying out of jail for once in their lives and getting the girlfriend on some type of weight loss plan

Rza is the one who 'makes' the albums or says what's wutang and what isn't. He legally owns the name

i don't think grown ignorami like ugod's manager and killa sins understand the concept of brand integrity but allowing this to be published is very damaging to wutang as a whole whether the like the concept or not and if wutang isn't trustworthy as a whole they're not going to sell their dry ass solo concerts
I dont understand any part of this post.

On one hand your saying wutang is rzas cuz clan members just come in and do verses and he puts together the albums.

And considering CILVARINGZ is the one who did it this time, how does that point stand.

And you going in on ugods manager and sin as if theyre dumb (like you know them) is another reach gor ringz.

Ugod is sueing because he gets paid MORE for a wu verse than for a killah priest/shyheim/cilvaringz feature. Everyone on the album recorded their verses under the pretense it was for a different project. Would you not charge more to he featured on say a jay z project versus a memphis bleek one? Of course you would.

The album is a glorified copy and paste job. Killah sin is an origibal wu killa bee, he has a right to feel a certain way about it as im sure from his wife hes in the know what happened here.

Rza cosigning this bullshit caused all the drama but i get why he did it. He indefinetley shelved cilvas "prime wutang" album we all "wanted" and made millions in the process. So itll never stack up against rzas albums cuz well never hear it.

But yes, cilva AND rza both told lies in the lead up to this and could constitute as false marketing and possible breach of contract tho with skreli in jail prolly wont happen.

We all know this wasnt something they came up with in the desserts of egypt on a camels back ot whatever fairly tale was used because he told all us "im going to meet rza and finally tell him about the project"...

It was not an authentic wu tang album; never was and never will be.

Ringz is happy for the press instead of people enjoying his hip hop work.

Culture vulturing at its finest and even the clan and beez feel the same way. Who am i to tell them theyre wrong when they ARE wutang and we AND ringz are just fans.

Everyone knew what they were getting involved with or what they were buying. If not they should not be doing business period. It was always produced/put together by Cilva and of course RZA co-signed it to make some bucks.

I can understand the people on this want to make some extra money because it's their main form of income but it just comes across as greedy.

I didn't know what Cilva/RZA promised everyone but the facts are pretty clear.

    A. If RZA says it's a Wu-Tang album, then that's what it is. RZA owns the Wu-Tang name, brand and logo in full. B. Martin was granted the right to listen to the entire album before paying. Upon acceptance he legally accepted the album as it was defined. This was mainly done to make sure we didn't just put 1 song on there and the rest would be a bunch of blaring sheep and chickens farting over Rick Ashley ballads. C. It is a Wu-Tang Clan album. Features from Killa Beez, Cher, Redman and my aunti dont make it something else. Shy, Sin's or Domingo's interpretation of what a Wu-Tang album is, or how it comes to be is irrelevant. What counts is what RZA defines it as. Not me, not Sin not anyone. This is like saying GZA's Beneath The Surface isnt a GZA album because he's missing from 7 of the 18 tracks (some completely performed by Wu-affiliates). Or saying Ironman isn't a Ghostface album because he's missing on 2 songs. Or to say Forever isn't a Wu-Tang Clan album because The City, Dog Shit, Black Sampoo, The Closing, Sunshower and Second Coming are solo songs by Wu-Tang Clan members and even affiliates (Tekitha, Poppa Wu, Uncle Pete), not the entire group. Or to say that Iron Flag isn't a Wu-Tang Clan album because In The Hood, Radioactive and Yall Been Warned were actually songs made for Masta Killa's solo (One Blood as well). I can go on and on.

What Bloomberg refused to do here is print my full statement. Know the history of this article. These are the same writers who broke the Martin Shkreli story. I have been in contact with one of them for a much longer period of time, before a sale was commenced simply because she was interested and she was cool. And I kept her in the loop which she respectfully kept off the record. They then found out Martin bought it and decided to break it. Cool, thats their right even if it didn't fit with our scheduling at the time, can't stop it. When we read the article there was a sleazy comment in there about what the auctionhouse rep has apparantly told Martin. It was false but of course it doesn't even matter if you counter claim it, once written it's out there, true or false. We asked them respectfully to take that out, it was baseless and added no value to the story. Considering the morality of it we expected them to do so, in return for having been kept in the loop by us and granting them an interview etc. But ofcourse they left it in and ran with the piece. We then decided not to do anymore press with them. They tried a few follow up stories and we didn't participate.

So when they approached me a few days ago with this article I said I'd be happy to give a quote under the condition they'd print my entire quote. They kept refusing. I said look, I have been misquoted a few times now with serious consequences (see Method Man Huffington Post/Hot97 interview), I cannot subject my quote to selective quotation. They refused again but promised to use it in full to the best of their ability. I decided not to speak, but was then strongly advised to at least have the truth out there even if it's a small piece of it. I knew RZA didn't give a shit about talking about it, but had I known that Martin had laughed at their whole story (hats off to him for that, shit's hilarious, printscreens on his Facebook) I also would've just let it go without speaking.

As expected they used half my quote yet used all the other accussations in full. I gave a breakdown of how the money was split and referred to the book as how the album came to be so it explains it all. But of course that doesn't fit their narrative because what they're trying to do as "journalists" is instigate shit as if they broke some wild story. Ofcourse Martin himself wasn't even going for it. It is quite unbelievable they had to resort to two guys in jail for attempted murder and a fatal hit and run to accuse me of misleading (they wrote letters to them and asked them to call Bloomberg). And then use Domingo (who is commonly reffered to as a crook by many folks that I know who've dealt with him) of all people to support those accusations. That's why it was more funny to me than anything. But it shows the desperation of two so called journalists obsessed with this story (because it was there biggest one ever when they broke it the first time) without any real content to keep talking about it. So they try to make up some shit. Hey guys the album might not be a real Wu-Tang album because these guys here say they didnt know they were recording for one!! Yeah.... ok... read that back will ya? If I record Lee Towers on a John Legend album one day but he finds out later that he didn't know if was a John Legend album he was recording for, does that suddenly mean it's not a John Legend album anymore cause Lee Towers said so?

Point is, every Wu-Tang artist got paid. Secondly everybody got water tight paperwork and know what they signed for. And if you're such a smart journalist trying to make this something that it isn't, use some real Wu-Tang Clan members statements. Go to scluzay.com and press the audio below and hear Ghost and Rae speak on it. Go to the Method Man interview where in all his glory he smote me with all he had yet never discredited the album as a Wu-Tang album, only what was happening to it. Read the Masta Killa interviews about it.

Yeah the album wasn't done in a "hey tomorrow at three yall, we're gonna start a Clan album" way... read the book and you'll understand. The journalist read the book. He tweeted about it weeks ago. Did you see him refer to it once? Nope.. did he keep it in my quote? Nope... you know why? Of course you do.

Nobody disputes that RZA owns the name, he can claim that Taylor Swifts album is a Wu-Tang album tomorrow, or one of Memory Man's mixtapes that he produced fully of Wu-Tang verses

none of those examples are even close to being analogous to how this album was made, but I don't wanna sound like a broken record anymore so ima go play nine holes of golf

It's a fake album because nobody from the clan who recorded verses and emailed them in over the space of years knew about it and RZA had nothing to do with its development until he fleeced the end game because it wasn't planned this way at all until the last second for some possible variety of reasons which made this change. Nobody knew what they were getting involved with at the time until 10 years later and nobody discredited it because nobody thought it would be relevant and/or RZA gave directives to say this and that.

The ONLY reason this has a Wu Tang logo and RZA co-signing it is because RZA knew he was going to get paid from it. Cilvaringz falls in line with the creative fan fiction because he doesn't have the authority to go against the Abbott but anybody who was posting here before this whole concept was announced knows the truth.

Anybody who says "this is not a Wu tang album" is doing so by saying that the album in essence is not a Wu tang album. It's not. It never was a Wu tang album. It never will be a Wu tang album. This is a cilvaringz album.

Dude should concern himself with staying out of prison. outside of this forum nobody even knows who he is. dudes got 16-years-to-life sentence and all he worried about is a "cut and paste" verse on a "fake" Wu album? priorities.
