Redman also produced like 90% of his first 3 albums. He used to be great at making beats.

    hahahaha.

like his albums are wack. y'all can admit it. way too many corny ass skits.

i admitted that the dude can rip it. but i seriously do think his albums are lacking.

just not my taste i guess. and i always hear about how hes got classics and i listened to those classics and i also revisited them classics (precisely when People Say dropped cause i got the itch for Red again) and hey... didnt like em. i just ended up spinning Blackout! instead.

id rather listen to DJ Quik's Quik is the Name as an album front to back than anything by Red other than stand alone tracks. and i hate west coast hip hop.

Red's cool though dont get it twisted. his episode on MTV Cribs was ill. but im not a big fan of sifting through shit to hear good tracks.

real shit: y'all couldnt even put together a halfway decent flowing project and i guarantee that. hence my opinion.

more real shit: y'all Redman dick riders hahah

i find it rather ironic and comical that tsa mentioned mr yo having a bad taste in music, when they have shown on here that they like a lot of the same crappy music such as young thug

^^That's my shit right there. I can play that shit all day. My favorite Red album even though he hates it lol. Muddy Waters is his best album, everything after that was going downhill. Doc's the name was mehh, Malpractice was weak, RGW was aiight, not even gonna bring up that RED album he did...

Redman has more classic albums than Nas but because he doesn’t spit fake conscious shit he is never considered close to the goat or in top 5 lists. He’s always recognised for having great work but never as a top 5 MC. Like TSA he hasn’t changed it up much but still sounds fresh today.

As for his best I think it’s Dark Side is but his first 3 or 4 are all equally good
