yeah sounds like the ppl that give ppl permission to think are pivoting towards a more logical stance on it. I think they've known for a while but weren't going to miss the torrential cash downpour and hypebeasting for 2 years. It's going to be here forever. A medicine you can take while you have it would help. I specifically remember them saying it mutated a bunch of times in a very small period, then decided they never said that.

Grand Rapids has really been building up the last 5 years, it mostly gets a bad rap from people who never leave their home and don't know whats here. The pandemic has been one of the greatest blessings to me personally, not downplaying other's experience.
Likely selling my house and going to Florida next fall though. Fuck snow and winter, and FL is amazing despite the easy jokes about it.



I've seen a news article that said the new strain was 'ripping' through the country even though 'many may be asymptomatic'. So be horrified about a virus that likely won't affect you lol.
What you said was right on both fronts though. It doesn't take but 5 minutes of research into viral history to know they get weaker over time. So I'm supposed to trust this vaccine that the FDA doesn't want to disclose information about for 55 years over my own age, health, and knowledge of how these die off. Nah.
The quickness of the masses giving up freedom over perceived safety and their surface level/ headline-agreeing mindsets is almost unbelievable.
Also people just hear the word 'vaccine' and can't fathom that every 'vaccine' in history doesn't work the same or with the same effectiveness.
This is why I opt to nod and smile and keep to myself 99% of the time.

From the very start of this shit I have avoided any conversation about it. I stopped watching the news n avoided exposure to any other form of news or media. I will never watch the news again for as long as I live.

I gave up on human beings a very, very long thyme ago, but this whole shit has been an absolute next level example of how stupid, weak, and utterly useless human beings are.

I've done very well at staying in my own bubble where I've had very minimal exposure to anything related to covid. It helps that I don't socialise and my girlfriend feels very similarly about the whole fucking travesty.

And yeah, i know it's a bit contradictory that I'm in this thread. It took me 2-3 years or however long it's been, and me actually getting covid myself for me to have a little bit of a peek tho.

It shows you their limits in certain aspects of medicine. I think it’s been a huge blow to their egos and these type of people are the last ones that want to admit they were wrong and the plebes were right. But it was common sense and it didn’t take an advanced degree to figure it out.
But probably more importantly it was a money and power grab and they couldn’t resist.
