TBH I don't think this is such a brilliant idea.

... who stinks up an otherwise great track.
Only stuff straight from the vault is ever good after artists die.
No one needs a 2019 Gang Starr remix LP.
Hopefully Primo proves me wrong tho.
^ Yeah when I first read this I immediately thought of the Biggie Duets album, and all the 2Pac shit that was full of beats and artists those guys would probably never have used.
Plus then I went down down an internet wormhole about Guru's death and his weird 'relationship' with Solar lol. Who knows what was really going on, but Guru and Preem hadn't spoken in 6 years when he died so 'Family & Loyalty' is a bit ironic.
The track really sounds fantastic though, apart from J Cole who drops his usual boring, preachy nonsense and sounds vocally out of place. If the rest of the album has features like Nas, Freddie Foxx, MOP etc and not newer rappers then it should turn out pretty nice.

Yeah I said that without actually hearing the track. It's dope.
Like you said it could do without J. Cole, but okay.. he's popular with the ladies.
I was referring to all that Biggie and Pac bullshit as well.
The fact that Premo does the producing helps a lot so who knows. I could bump an album full of this with some better features.
This is gonna be on some dumb shit

I wouldn't have thought this was a good idea either but my god that track is fucking fantastic. What a beat. Would definitely prefer to just hear Guru on the track but J Cole sounds pretty good on it imo. If the rest is anything like this I am really looking forward it
This track sounds like a Moment Of Truth era joint. I personally felt that J Cole did his thing on here.
fuck these new rappers too

track is dope - GURU one of my favorite MC's
I'm always happy for new Preemo. I'm sure this won't be a Moment of Truth, but I'm very confident this will at least be a good album.
not a huge j cole fan or of these posthumous albums but on this occasions ill make an exception! Primo making some bangas lately this and the Mike Posner beat
